WRO 2025 features several categories catering to different age groups and skill levels:
1. RoboMission
Age Groups:
- Elementary: 8–12 years
- Junior: 11–15 years
- Senior: 14–19 years

2. Future Innovators
Age Groups:
- Elementary: 8–12 years
- Junior: 11–15 years

3. RoboSports
- Age Group: 11–19 years

4. Future Engineers
- Age Group: 14–22 years
