🧩 Competition Categories and Highlights

Below are all 14+ official competitions under WRC 2025, along with details on each one:

1. Robo Race Challenge

  • Objective: Manually controlled wireless robots race to complete a track with obstacles in the shortest time.
  • Eligibility: Open to participants aged 8–16 years.
  • Team Limit: Up to 250 teams.

Key Rules:

  • Robots must be self-built; pre-built kits are not allowed.
  • Robots must fit within 30cm x 30cm x 40cm dimensions.
  • Maximum weight: 5kg (5% tolerance allowed).

2. Maze Solver

  • Objective: Design an autonomous robot to navigate and solve a complex maze in the shortest time.
  • Eligibility: Open to all participants.

Key Rules:

  • Robots must be fully autonomous with no human aid.
  • No wireless communication (e.g., Bluetooth, RF modules) is allowed.
  • Robots must not damage or alter the maze in any way.
  • Maximum weight: 5kg (5% tolerance allowed).

3. RC Electric Car Racing

  • Objective: Race customized radio-controlled electric cars on designed tracks, showcasing speed and control.
  • Eligibility: Open to all participants.

  • Participants compete head-to-head, demonstrating skill and precision control.
